Vincent Sapone, LCSW

Vincent is the clinical director and owner of Sirona Counseling. He has worked in helping professions since 2001. Vincent obtained an MSW from University of Connecticut’s School of Social Work. He is a licensed clinical social worker and has worked in behavior support, casework, and clinical therapy since 2014.

Vincent’s website is www.vmslcsw.com

Vincent specializes in relationships. “All of life is relationships and social engagement - friends, coworkers, colleagues, spouses and significant others, etc… Relationships are the most important aspects of our lives. Things get in our way like anxiety and stress, not understanding how others perceive us and not understanding human behavior.”

Vincent also specializes in issues specific to men, anxiety, social issues, behavior and parenting.

Specializing in men's issues means Vincent is interested in getting more men into therapy. Men's issues includes being a single man looking for companionship, relationship problems, new to fatherhood, dealing with conflict and family dynamics, struggles with masculinity, machismo, and the pressure of traditional ideals regarding men's roles in the family and society.

He also offers clinical supervision for Master’s level therapists working on clinical hours toward licensure.

Vincent accepts Optum, United, Connecticare, Oxford, and Aetna. If you have different insurance, contact Vincent to find out your payment options.
